What is the VSCAT?
The Visual Stress & Colorimetry Assessment Tool (VSCAT) is a software as a service (SaaS) application used to support the comprehensive process for evaluating individuals for Visual Stress. This tool is designed for use by the general public, with some more advanced components for eye care, health care and education professionals.
Individuals who may benefit from this process suffer from neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions where the visual system is compromised. These include conditions such as learning difficulties, migraines and acquired brain injury.
The VSCAT uses a combination of printed material, videos, hard goods and a medical device, to guide individuals and specialists through the assessment journey – from pre-screening and identification of Visual Stress to fulfillment with precision tinted lenses.
To get started, proceed to the pre-screening test (step 1). Watch the videos and complete the sections to get your report and scoring summary.
